People love puppies. There is something so wonderful about a puppy, from their sweet puppy breath to their little feet. As they totter around your house, they totter their way into your heart, and it can be difficult to deny a puppy anything.
Because of the immediate attraction, many people choose to adopt a puppy. However, they often don’t think about the long-term responsibilities or the work that is involved in owning a puppy. They see the cute little puppy face and instantly fall in love.
Unfortunately, this love can lead to a lot of heartache if the puppy was purchased on a spur of the moment. And it can also lead to headaches when the full scope of the task is realized.
The fact is that raising a puppy is not easy. There are a lot of adjustments to be made, and there can be many sleepless nights, accidents and chewed shoes before you and your puppy settle into a routine. In addition, there may be a time when you realize that maybe – just maybe – you chose the wrong breed. Or maybe you chose a puppy whenyou weren’t ready for one.
Thankfully, the latter situation isn’t the case for most puppy owners and I am sure that, once you have read through this learning series, it won’t be the case for you.
Raising a puppy can be as enjoyable as it is frustrating. Eventually, as your puppy grows into a wonderful canine companion, the frustrations will disappear. You won’t remember the couch your puppy chewed or the accidents on the carpet. All you’ll remember are the wonderful memories that you shared with your pet.
This e-book learning series offers you a way to experience more of those memories by providing you with everything you need for those first few weeks of your puppy’s life. I will take you through socializing a puppy, housebreaking and teaching your puppy basic obedience and manners so that you have nothing to worry about in the early days of life with your puppy.
